The rhythm and order in the Repetition series brings me a sense of positive satisfaction. I deliberately kept the structures simple in order to focus on the harmony. However, I’m rarely satisfied by “perfect” things, and in these works, much of my energy was focused on the micro details: the slight curvature of the lines, the subtle changes in thickness, the layering of fine textures and color changes, and roughness along the edges.
