Like all of the works my first solo exhibition, Progress, this piece was focused on two things. First, it needed to be balanced perfectly between human influence and computer influence. Second, in order to achieve the first goal, it was created entirely through a recursive triangle subdivision algorithm.

To Have A Day Like That was created at a time when, frankly, I wasn't having a lot of days like this. I wanted to feel the full intensity of the light and heat on my face. I wanted to be warm, to be happy. It was created as a reminder, as a goal to return to. Never forget there can be days like this. Never stop seeking them out. Enjoy the sun on your skin.
