Like all of the works my first solo exhibition, PROGRESS, this piece was focused on two things. First, it needed to be balanced perfectly between human influence and computer influence. Second, in order to achieve the first goal, it was created entirely through a recursive triangle subdivision algorithm.

PROGRESS 2D builds on the ideas started in Progress 2A, 2B, and 2C. Simple shapes, elevated by the complexity of their contents.
