QQL Prints

Prints are a great way to display and view QQL.

They surpass digital displays in resolution, color accuracy, and presentation of subtle detail. Additionally, the colors and textures used in QQL lend themselves extremely well to prints.

We currently offer two kinds of QQL prints.

  1. Studio prints for NFT owners or parametric artists of a minted QQL.
  2. Community prints, #276 - #282, available to anyone.

See below for details on both.

Owner/Parametric Artist Prints

Print Specifications

  • Prints are 28 x 35 inches (71 x 89 cm).
  • The prints are created by a professional fine-art printing service in Austin, Texas. All prints are on Hahnemühle Museum Etching paper, a 350 gsm, 100% cotton, acid- and lignin-free paper with a finely textured matte surface. All pigments are archival quality and rated for 100 to 200 years.
  • Unlike previous prints, QQL prints are not signed on the face. Instead, they are stamped on the back with two stamps representing the co-creators, Tyler and Indigo.
  • A Certificate of Authenticity is included alongside the print.
  • The print is sold loose, without a frame. It will be carefully packaged in a tube for protection.
  • The price of a print is $750.

Shipping

Shipping to the United States and Canada is complimentary.

All other international shipping has a $125 fee, regardless of destination. International shipping will be handled through FedEx.

Editions and Limitations

In order to purchase a print of a QQL, you must own the corresponding NFT or be the parametric artist. You will be asked to verify your relationship as part of the order process.

An individual QQL can be printed multiple times. (This is different from the policy for Fidenza prints.) A record will be kept of how many times each QQL has been printed, and each individual print and Certificate of Authenticity will be notated with its print number. For example, the first print of QQL #99 will be marked as “Print #1”, the second as “Print #2”, and so on.

Generally speaking, we ask owners not to order multiple prints of a single QQL. The studio team is small, and print orders can create a significant workload for us. The parametric artist is also entitled to order exactly one print. Print #1 is provided to the first person to place the order. With that said, we do make exceptions to this, noted here:

  • If the NFT is sold or transferred to a new owner, that new owner is welcome to order a new print.
  • If the NFT has fractionalized ownership or DAO ownership, then up to three prints of a particular QQL may be ordered per batch (see below for details on batches). We would love to be able to get prints to every fractional owner, but our capacity for producing prints is limited. Check with your DAO in order to determine the agreed process for distributing printing rights.
  • If the NFT has a small number of joint owners, then one print may be ordered per owner, up to a limit of three per batch (see the previous bullet point).

We reserve the right to fine-tune these limitations in the future based on observed print behavior and fluctuating studio capacity. However, generally speaking, we plan to continue offering prints of QQL indefinitely into the future and will do our best to keep these rules consistent.
